Kindergarten at PS 115Q
I'm Mrs. Silvagni and I will be your child's classroom teacher. I will meet with your children everyday and we will work on routines, making good choices( behavior), virtues of the month,literacy, writing, and math. I expect all of my students to make good choices inside the classroom and as part of their lives. I expect the children to be responsible for their belongings as well as their classwork and homework. Children are expected to return all homework the following day unless otherwise noted.
Once a week they will receive special subjects. During these subjects, children will have a different teacher and will be expected to abide by their rules. Children will have gym at least three times each week. Please dress your child appropriately, and in sneakers.

Monday: Music
Tuesday: S.T.E.M.
Wednesday: Week A. Dance Week B. Technology
Thursday: Physical Education
Friday: Week A. Music Week B. Art
Mood Meter:
We have been discussing our feelings and emotions using the mood meter. The mood meter is helpful because it allows children to put a specific emotion word to how they are feeling as well as to understand why they are experiencing a specific emotion. I have attached a copy of the mood meter on the site.
